Championing homegrown, local talent as well as inviting internationally celebrated artists to its blueprint home each year, the renowned dance festival is kicking off at Titanic Slipways on June 2 and June 3.

West London drill star Central Cee - the most-streamed UK rapper in 2022 - and the Korean house music superstar Peggy Gou top the bill on day one, joined by Overmono, Job Jobse, DJ Heartstring, I. Jordan and Dublin rapper Kojaque.Day two is spearheaded by Northampton punk-rapper Slowthai, along with the much-loved house and techno DJ Ben UFO, Irish talent Kettama, Eliza Rose and Interplanetary Criminal, who linked up for one of last year’s biggest dance tunes, B.O.T.A. .

An essential event across both sides of the border and mainland UK, AVA is the first large-scale multi-stage event to represent a modern Belfast, promoting the growing community and beyond. AVA has created an inclusive, vibrant, and celebrated space for talent to be nurtured from their DJ competitions to work programmes.

With one day to go until the festival basks in the sun in the historic Titanic Quarter, final preparations are taking place to ensure AVA 2023 is bigger and better than ever.31/5/2023. Photo By Justin KernoghanAVA, Titanic Quarter, Belfast.
