It’s no secret that the linear production model, which depletes finite resources, is wasteful, destructive and unsustainable. Materials are extracted from the environment, used, then disposed of – often hazardously and irresponsibly.
Sustainability, the big business buzzword of modern times, is best served by a circular economy. Instead of the ‘take, make, waste’ linear model, this method sees the end of one cycle join up to the next, reusing and recycling all the resources possible. ...
