Interestingly, Gupta led off with articulating Infineon’s environmental goals. Infineon, for the first time, has set binding targets for carbon dioxide emissions. The company’s stated goal is to reach neutrality by 2030, primarily by avoiding missions. Moreover, the company hopes to realize 70% of the targeted savings by 2025.
Infineon offers a host of capabilities for the consumer and industrial markets that address the ongoing compute and controls needs common at the IoT edge. For example, Infineon solutions are designed with ultra-low power consumption architectures, delivering extended battery life. Depending on the processing performance requirements of the device, Infineon offers single-core to multi-core products. On the industrial side, Infineon’s menu of products includes optimized motor and digital power control solutions, lighting controls, and broad industrial communications protocols support.
