Irish influencer Aideen shares relief as her wedding dress arrives in Ireland after careful handling by Emirates staff, with next steps involving transport to Spain for the upcoming destination wedding alongside her partner Dave Kelly, following their intimate legal ceremony in Dublin.

is one step closer to her dream wedding celebrations after revealing her wedding dress has safely arrived in Ireland. The influencer shared an Instagram reel documenting the precious cargo’s journey, breathing a sigh of relief after completing one of the biggest tasks on any destination bride’s checklist.

“Get dress to Ireland complete. Thank you @emirates. Now just need to get her onto the @aerlingus flight and we will be ready to party,” she captioned the post. In the reel, Aideen revealed that the dress had to go through a separate security screening before it could be scanned.

Thankfully, the airport staff were incredibly understanding and helpful, making the experience far less stressful and putting the bride-to-be at ease. Although the gown has now made it safely to Ireland, Aideen joked there’s still one final mission before she walks down the aisle in Spain – making sure it boards its Aer Lingus flight without a hitch.

The post comes after Aideen and her long-term partner, Dave Kelly, officially became husband and wife during an intimate legal ceremony in Dublin back in May. The couple chose to separate the legalities from their dream destination wedding, saying “I do” in a small ceremony in the capital before planning a larger celebration with family and friends in Spain.

In recent weeks, Aideen has been giving followers an insight into the couple’s legal wedding, including the sentimental traditions they incorporated into the day. Rather than including a religious element, Aideen revealed that she and Dave created a time capsule using a bottle of Moët & Chandon champagne that he gifted her on the morning they got engaged.

Before the ceremony, they each wrote letters to one another and placed them in a box alongside the champagne, which they plan to open on their first wedding anniversary. She also shared the emotional significance of spending the morning of her wedding getting ready at her grandmother’s Dublin home, a property that has been in her family for more than a century.
