A seriously injured man reportedly 'walked to Tesco' for help after being 'stabbed' in Radcliffe as police and forensics swarmed the area on Sunday .
The 34-year-old was then rushed to hospital from the scene as an investigation was launched. Water Street was closed off with crime scene investigators conducting enquiries throughout Sunday afternoon, with a cordon in place on nearby Grosvenor Street.READ MORE: 'Jimmy Saville invited me to his flat - it was strange and unsettling'
Local councillor Den Duncalfe said in a public post that there had been 'yet another stabbing' and that the victim had 'made his way to Tesco where police and ambulance were called'.
