The Leinster and Ireland Rugby star married his wife Patti in their native country of New Zealand in the summer of 2022 and the couple have three kids together

He left New Zealand in May 2016 to join Leinster in the Pro12 ahead of the 2016–17 season. Since joining he has won European Rugby Champions Cup and United Rugby Championship honours with province. The sports star has since become Ireland's first choice scrum-half and he was part of the squad that claimed the Triple Crown and Grand Slam in the 2023 Six Nations.Opening up about his career, he previously told the Irish Mirror: “It’s season to season and it rolls on so quickly, so you don’t get much time to reflect. But we got that during Covid by the bucketload.
"The first few games coming back and playing for Leinster, I played really well. It was probably the best I felt in my career in terms of what I could put out on the pitch. I don’t know if Faz saw that or not, but he obviously brought me in then."He is married to his wife Patti and the couple have three beautiful kids together, including daughters Isabella and Iris and a son. The couple tied the knot in Taupo in his native country back in July 2022.
