Joanna Donnelly invites RSVP Home into her dreamy home in the idyllic town of Portmarnock. Joanna purchased the home with her husband and fellow Met Eireann meteorologist Harm 17 years ago, during a turbulent time in the Irish property market.

He moved here in October 2005 so we needed to buy a home. Obviously the price of these houses were decimated in the property crash, but we still live here and it’s still our home 17 years later.Yeah. We had been married for a couple of years before he moved to Ireland.
It’s Harm’s family’s holiday home so we all share it. The family actually have two houses beside each other and my sister in law and father in law will usually be in one and we’ll be in the other. We go every summer, we’ve going in July this year and my son Tobias is coming with us and bringing his friends so we’re going to let the kids have one and the adults will stay in the other.It is yeah, because you’re just on the bike all the time, no cars or driving anywhere, it’s on the lake.
