Carlow's Paul Coady called on The Sunday Game to 'show respect' to less established GAA counties in their analysis.
Carlow GAA star Paul Coady has called for RTE 's The Sunday Game to "show respect" to counties outside hurling's elite group.
He also demanded bemoaned analysts 'preaching' about growing the game, rather than showing extended highlights from games involving less-established counties.Coady finished his thread by highlighting how young hurlers in these counties would benefit from seeing their team get proper airtime on the GAA's flagship highlights show.
"Don’t have usual analysts preach the GAA need to grow the game and then not reward the counties efforts who have worked up to the top table. "The battle of growing the game does not lie with The Sunday Game, that is a GAA issue and something they are failing internally & externally, but from The Sunday Game the counties fighting and scraping to get here just ask their efforts to be respected like their peer counties.
