iPhone 14 launch live: Apple event to reveal top-secret new gadgets today
The next set is the iPhone 14 Pro – in two variants.It was introduced with the iPhone X to house the Face ID module.Sean KeachThe $699 Mini we saw last year is gone, so the base model is now $100 more.The iPhone 14 is out first on September 16, followed by the iPhone 14 Plus on October 7.Satellite ’Find My’ alerts that let you relay your location to friends and family is available for free for two years with iPhone 14 purchases.
Apple has also added a new emergency feature to get help even when you’re off the grid in a remote location. The new Emergency SOS lets you connect to a satellite, sharing your location with emergency services. You’ll be alerted when satellite reception is available, and also when emergency responders have received the ping.
