Ireland AM presenters have issued an apology over an "irresponsible" segment which left viewers feeling "disappointed".

A third person said: "The worry for allergy sufferers and their parents in the last couple of weeks is nothing to be laughed at. The misinformation is shocking," while a fourth felt Tommy, Alan and Muireann were being "ignorant" and "insensitive".They were joined by Clinical Director of Allergy Ireland Dr Iseult Sheehan and took the opportunity to address viewers at home.
