Ireland is in line for an Indian summer this week – with long spells of sunshine and temperatures are high as 22C.

Today will stay mainly dry and sunny in most areas today, according to Met Éireann, although things may be a little cloudier at times near Atlantic coasts.

Things will remain dry tonight although it will be cloudier at times in parts of southwest, west and northwest with a little drizzle.Tuesday will again see plenty of sunshine around the country, with highest temperatures of 22C.
