Ireland's top takeaway spot has been selected from hundreds all around the country
The votes have been counted and the verdict is in, Ireland’s best takeaway for 2025 has officially been decided upon.
The grand winner of the Irish Takeaway of the Year award went to AJ's Takeaway, located in Ballyshannon, Donegal, dubbed a “traditional fast food takeaway with a friendly face and a big welcome”. The takeaway also won the top spot for other awards, including Best Fish and Chips and Onion Ring of the Year.
Some other big winners include Meath street food truck Once Upon a Thai taking the Asian Takeaway of the Year award, while Louth’s very own Tony's Pizzeria took the top spot for Ireland’s best pizza.
