An Cailin Ciuin director Colm Bairead joined Colin Farrell, Barry Keoghan, Kerry Condon, Martin McDonagh, Brendan Gleeson and Paul Mescal at the Oscars luncheon surrounded by some of Hollywood’s elite.

Colm documented his joy to be at the luncheon with his wife, Cleona Ní Chrualaoí, on social media following their historic Oscar nomination for Best International Feature Film. He posed with the likes of Steven Spielberg, Alfonso Cuaron, Guillermo Del Toro and cinematographer Roger Deakins and his wife, James.Tom Berkeley and Ross White, directors/writers of the short film An Irish Goodbye, were also there, as were Dublin-born editor Jonathan Redmond and Richard Baneham .Meanwhile, first-time nominee Paul Mescal, who is competing with Farrell for Best Actor, was spotted talking to Everything Everywhere All At Once's Michelle Yeoh.

She told nominees at the luncheon on Monday: "You win a coveted golden statue, your speech must be 45 seconds tops.
