Ireland is expected to enjoy a prolonged spell of warm and sunny weather this coming week, with temperatures reaching up to 22 degrees Celsius. The good news is that the pleasant conditions are forecast to last until at least next weekend.
This coming week promises to bring one of the most sustained spells of good weather for some time in Ireland , with a weather expert saying it’s ‘just a matter of how much sunshine and how warm'.
And the good news is that the warm weather is set to stay until at least next weekend, with Met Éireann promising that, after a good start on Monday - with only a slight chance of drizzle on the west coast - “Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will all be largely dry with bright or sunny spells and highest temperatures of 17 to 21 or 22 degrees”.
Despite largely clear skies, the mercury isn’t set to drop too far at night-time either this week, with lowest temperatures set to range from 7-11 degrees, not nearly as chilly as last week, when they dropped close to freezing at times. Highest temperatures 15 to 18 degrees with mostly light southwest to west breezes. Tonight will be dry and calm with clear spells and a few patches of mist or fog. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees with light, variable breezes.Monday will be largely dry with sunny spells, the best of these over the eastern half of the country. There'll be a bit more cloud further west with perhaps a little drizzle at times along the west coast.
