According to the latest forecast for the coming days, temperatures are set to rise to up 18 degrees, which would be considered milder conditions than normal for the month of October
Reports emerged this week that Ireland was set for an ‘Indian summer’ and the latest weather forecast from Met Eireann does predict some unseasonably high temperatures.
Temps are set to start rising from Tuesday the 15th of October with highs of up to 17 degrees, with a further rise up to 18 degrees on Wednesday the 16th.Today - Saturday 12th October Sunny spells and scattered showers today, heaviest across Ulster. Most areas will be dry from mid-afternoon with just isolated showers following. Dry and clear this evening. Fresh with highs of 9 to 13 degrees, in mostly moderate west to northwest winds.
Sunday night: Cloudy and wet at first with rain for much of the country with heavy falls in places leading to localised flooding though parts of the north and west will stay mostly dry. Clearer and drier conditions will then move in from the Atlantic with the rain largely confined to the east by morning. Lowest temperatures ranging from 3 to 7 degrees in the north and west, 7 to 11 degrees elsewhere.
