A band of warmer air is set to narrowly avoid Ireland early this weekend, warmer air that will bring temperatures in the high 20s and possibly even touching 30 degrees to areas in the south and southeast of England
Warmer air bringing temperatures of up to 30 degrees will pass “close by” to Ireland on Friday but we will “just miss it” as it heads towards England, a weather expert has revealed.
Ireland, on the other hand, is set for a continuation of the mixed weather experienced so far this week, with warm and humid weather interspersed with scattered outbreaks of rain, which are likely to increase in frequency as we head closer to the weekend.READ MORE: Two Irish brothers who 'duped' pensioner into paying over $400K for home repairs charged by US prosecutors
Saturday is set to be the worst day as far as wet weather is concerned and the rain will be heavy enough to cause spot flooding in places. That rain is set to ease later on Saturday and will have mostly cleared by Sunday, which is forecast to be “a largely dry day with sunny spells and well scattered showers”.
Dry for most with a mix of cloud and clear spells on Thursday night though there will be a few patches of light rain and drizzle about. Temperatures not falling below 10 to 15 degrees generally in light southwesterly or variable breezes, with some mist and fog patches developing.A mostly cloudy start with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle, most frequent for Atlantic coastal areas. Driest in the east and southeast with the best of any sunny spells.
