There is anxiety in Ireland's squad this week as the World Cup selection deadline looms - but Iain Henderson says the players are rallying around those on the cut line.
Joking aside, for those on the cusp of selection who will face the Samoans and those left out of the matchday squad, an anxious wait is on the cards as Andy Farrell finalises his 33-man squad for France 2023.The head coach admitted on Thursday that he wasn't losing much sleep over selection dilemmas. The die is close to being cast, if it has been already.
"Obviously this one carries a slightly different weight but we're a really tight-knit group, the guys who are feeling probably the worst about it are probably the best supported. "Everyone's looking after each other and ensuring whoever is left out will feel as little left out as possible.
