John Egan looks set for an immediate return to the Premier League after confirming his departure from Sheffield United in an emotional post on social media.
He spent much of last season on the treatment table, as the Blades were relegated back to the Championship. He posted: “It’s hard to put into words how special the last six years at Sheffield United have been for me, my family and friends.
