Les Bleus were celebrating on their national holiday Bastille Day as they put in a dominant display against Richie Murphy's men to win 50-14
Ireland suffered a 50-14 defeat to France in the World Rugby U20 Championship final on Friday evening in South Africa.Ireland took the lead after just three minutes when Fintan Gunne tapped the ball quickly after a France offside and got through the legs of Posolo Tuilagi for the try to stun the French.
However, France were back in the lead just minutes later as Lino Julien gathered the ball after Tuilagi was taken to ground and got France's second try before Reus converted. That saw France go into the break with a three-point lead, but that became ten moments into the second half as Pierre Jouvin got another try for the favourites before Reus added the extras.
Ireland were back to 15 men just before the 50-minute mark and had France under pressure before Les Bleus won the turnover.
