18-year-old Irish footballer Lia O'Leary has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Bristol City Women, with an option for an additional year. O'Leary, who was named Players' Young Player of the Year at Shamrock Rovers in 2023, joins the Robins from the Irish club and is excited to contribute to the team's ambition of promotion. Bristol City currently sits second in the FA Women's Championship.

The 18-year-old joins the Robins from Shamrock Rovers, with an option of a further year as part of the contract.

Bristol City face Arsenal next Sunday 12 January in the FA Women’s Cup fourth round at 12.30pm.
