An enormous Arctic storm is currently tracking towards to Ireland, according to new weather maps published by weather app, Ventusky

Snow, ice and sub-zero temperatures could be on the cusp of a return to Ireland within just days, according to new weather charts and data.

. "OMG! Could we see the Beast From The East at the end of the month?," queried independent weather forecaster, Mett Jeff UK on X. "Snow fans will be happy - Winter over, don't you believe it," he added. Elsewhere, Met Eireann's outlook for the rest of this week remains positive. The state forecaster said while rain is forecast for this weekend, mild temperatures are expected to prevail.
