Plenty of dry weather is expected overall, but with some patches of rain and drizzle, especially in southern and western counties. Highest temperatures will be 10 to 12 degrees with moderate south to southwest winds. Although snow is not expected in the immediate future, WXCharts predicts potential snowfall in Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Donegal and Wicklow, with snow appearing on the maps into New Year’s Day and January 2nd
