The weather forecast for the October Bank Holiday weekend is not looking good
After a day of torrential rain yesterday we are in for some nicer weather today with plenty of sunny spells this evening.

There will be a mix of bright or sunny spells and scattered showers for the rest of the day, with some heavy showers possible. The best of the sunny spells will develop in the evening.
Heavy rain to start on Wednesday night will gradually become more confined to the northern half of the country. Scattered showers and clear spells will develop elsewhere. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees in moderate to fresh easterly winds becoming southwesterly.
