While there will be some showers over the week, Met Éireann has forecast a break in the rain with some drier and more settled weather on the way
Met Éireann has pinpointed when the showers will break and give way to warm sunshine before autumn sets in.
Currently, it is looking like Saturday will be mostly dry with spells of warm sunshine developing throughout the day. Met Éireann had put a number of counties under a Status Yellow Rain warning on Monday with fears of an onslaught of rain, however, most of these counties were taken off the list throughout the night.
Clear spells and isolated showers at first tonight. More widespread showers will develop across the western half of the country later in the night, some heavy. Lowest temperatures of 11C to 14C in light to moderate southwest winds.Sunny spells and scattered showers at first tomorrow. The showers will turn more widespread through the morning and afternoon, some heavy with a chance of isolated thunderstorms. Highest temperatures of 16C to 20C in moderate west to southwest winds.
