The national weather forecaster's latest says that we can expect a drop in temperatures from the weekend highs, and some rain to accompany it, as autumn truly arrives

Tuesday Outbreaks of rain in southern parts will clear during the morning with sunshine and showers following from the north. Some of the showers will become heavy and prolonged over the north and northwest in the afternoon while it becomes drier further south. Maximum temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees in fresh and gusty west to northwest winds.
