Following a washout week full of showers, Ireland is set for a melting long weekend with highs of up to 22C expected
Get the BBQ ready and the sun tan lotion out as temperatures are set to rise to a whopping 22C over the course of the Bank Holiday weekend following a washout couple of days.
“The high pressure for weekend looking good with a nice settled spell from Friday and good sunny spells,” he wrote on his popular X page. A few heavy and thundery showers are possible in the afternoon and evening, mainly in Ulster. Highest temperatures of 14C to 19C, mildest in the east, in a light to moderate southwest to west wind.
