IRFU CEO Kevin Potts said the union cannot provide any additional information on the circumstances surrounding Graham Rowntree 's departure from Munster in October. Rowntree left the province by mutual agreement, but the exact reasons for his exit remain unclear. Forwards coach Andi Kyriacou has also left, with Alex Codling stepping in temporarily. Attack coach Mike Prendergast and defense coach Denis Leamy have renewed their contracts.
The head of rugby operations, Ian Costello, continues as interim head coach while Munster evaluates both internal and external candidates for the position. IRFU performance director David Humphreys is central to the search process, and an update is expected in January
