A Wicklow aquarium will allow disgruntled lovers to name one of their Madagascan hissing cockroaches after their exes ahead of Valentine’s Day.All proceeds will then go to the Sea Life Trust which was set up to protect the world’s oceans and marine life.The charity wants to champion the need for plastic-free oceans and wants to put an end to the over-exploitation of marine life through global projects and campaigns.
Sea Life Bray said: “Love them or hate them, name a cockroach after your ex this Valentine's Day at SEA LIFE Bray! “In exchange for a small donation to the SEA LIFE Trust, your chosen name will feature in our Ranger area. They added: “To name a cockroach after your special person then please make your donation here, then simply send us a message with your chosen name and proof of donation and we will do the rest for you!”
