Irish band slam 'disgusting' behaviour as singer allegedly 'sexually assaulted'

The Dublin four-piece are currently on tour but have been forced to call out 'abhorrent' behaviour at their shows

Dublin garage rockers Sprints have called out an “abhorrent” act of sexual assault that allegedly occurred during their Irish and European tour.

The raucous noise makers took to the stage at Belfast's Ulster Sports Club for a sold-out show, supported by three-piece Galway punk’s Adore, unfortunately, the show took a turn when Sprints singer Karla was allegedly “sexually assaulted for the second time”. Calling out the disgraceful behaviour, Sprints headed to social media to let followers know they refuse to “be silent about it” stressing that female performers should be in a position to engage with their audience and not fear groping or cat-calling.

“Yesterday, Karla was sexually assaulted for the second time on the Letter To Self-tour," wrote the band on X.
