Kelyn Cassidy and Sean Mari's wins overnight in Bangkok follow on from Gráinne Walsh's opening victory
Cassidy missed out in the European qualifiers in March by losing his 80kg qualifier to world champ Nurbek Oralbay of Kazakhstan.
Both boxers took standing counts in the third round but Cassidy prevailed in the round of 64 bout. His next fight will be in Monday's afternoon session against Kristiyan Nikolov of Bulgaria or India’s Abhimany Loura.
