As Killian Woods writes, the property that previously housed the family-run Taaffes shop, which sold woollen goods until its closure in 1996, was put up for sale in 2024. Stripe is to create 200 jobs at its Dublin headquarters , as the financial technology company continues to grow its operation here.

The new roles will include engineering jobs and go-to-market roles. Ciara O’Brien has the details. Gardaí arrested and questioned four men in recent days in the east of the State as part of an investigation into suspected insider trading offences. Joe Brennan reports.
