The partnership with Trinity St James's Cancer Institute has come amid a spike in gastrointestinal cancers among patients under 50
The Irish Cancer Society has announced plans to invest €4.5 million in programmes to deliver a new model of cancer care for patients in Ireland.
The investment by the charity is part of a new joint initiative with the Trinity St James’s Cancer Institute. The partnership will develop new methods for patient care that use scientific discovery to create novel approaches to prevention, detection and treatment of cancer.
