Irish driving instructor shares easy mistake that could make you fail your test

Passing a driving test is easier said than done as any mistakes or bad habits learner drivers learn along the way could make it harder for them to become fully licenced

Taking your driving test is no easy feat and everyone who has passed it has memories of the nerves they felt or mistakes they made on the day.

Lara Lewis took to TikTok to explain how the position learner drivers stop on the road could count as a mistake. She added: "Examples of where you can incur a fault for stopping on a driving test would be stopping too far away from the curb, hitting or mounting the curb, stopping too close to vehicle in front or stopping on or blocking a junction."

"Good job," wrote one while another added: "For the car in front of you I use the TT rule. When you stop make sure you can see the Tar and the tyres of the vehicle in front."
