An Irish fan hilariously revealed how she met her Tongan husband as they attended the Rugby World Cup clash between the countries on Saturday evening.

Laois native Carmel Murphy joked that the couple were the "only Irish-Tongan group you'll ever meet" as she backed Ireland to beat her husband's country. She told Off The Ball: "We're going to win, of course we're going to win. Despite the husband's team losing, it will be a rough night in the house tonight.When asked how the pair met, Carmel hilariously responded by saying: "Drunk at a rugby game in California. We both looked fabulous back then. 30 years ago."
