The Embassy of Ireland in Paris will host an inaugural Irish fashion showcase in February, featuring leading Irish designers and their AW25 collections. The event will highlight the evolution of Irish design, showcasing contemporary, sustainable, and luxurious pieces to French fashion buyers and media.

Irish fashion is set to make a major splash on the international stage with the announcement of an inaugural Irish fashion showcase in Paris this February. The event, taking place at the Embassy of Ireland in the 16th arrondissement on February 5 and 6, aims to highlight the best of Irish design to French fashion buyers and media. This marks the first coordinated showcase of its kind in the French capital.

The showcase will feature a curated selection of AW25 collections from leading Irish brands, focusing on the themes of heritage, sustainability, and luxury. Participating designers include established names like Urban Aran, known for its luxurious knits, heritage label Magee 1866, and Dublin brand Jack Murphy. The lineup also features Caroline Duffy, purveyor of colorful textiles, cashmere specialist Laura Chambers, sleepwear brand and Landa. Among the participating designers is Irish fashion icon and stylist, Hoyne, who will debut her AW25 collection at the Paris showcase. Hoyne's collection embraces moody, luxurious colors like burgundy, forest green, and chocolate brown. She'll also introduce a key new shape: round-toe flats. Studded and bow details, which remain popular trends, will also feature prominently in her designs. Today, Hoyne says, Irish design has evolved significantly. It's more contemporary and wearable than ever before. While premium Irish brands once focused on formal and occasion wear, the trend has shifted towards everyday wearability, incorporating high-quality leather goods and materials. Post-Covid-19, people have embraced bolder fashion choices, demanding pieces that seamlessly transition from day to night. The showcase will also include presentations from up-and-coming brands like founded by husband and wife duo Joel and Amy Anderson. They will showcase key pieces from their AW25 collection, highlighting their signature beetle linen and Irish tweed designs. The brand is also exploring new avenues with embellishments in their latest offerings. has recently experienced a surge in inquiries from the United States, particularly after Utah-based influencer Hannah Neeleman (@ballerinafarm) featured their pieces on her Instagram account, which boasts over ten million followers. Neeleman's family moved to County Cork for twelve weeks to attend Ballymaloe Cookery School, further boosting 's visibility in the international market
