Galway-based folk singer Reylta is the second contestant announced to represent Ireland at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest. She will compete against five other musicians on The Late Late Eurosong Special on February 7th, vying for the chance to represent Ireland in Basel, Switzerland.

Reylta was announced as the second hopeful today as the four other contestants will be revealed during the week. Described as ‘Galway’s alt-folk queen’ the singer will join RTÉ Radio 1’s Ray D’Arcy today at 3pm to chat about her Eurosong entry Fire. From its poetic legacy to its evocative landscapes and rich storytelling— it’s been said her work paints “a hauntingly unique perspective”. Reylta, whose real name is Caoimhe Glynn, began performing with her band in 2017 and two years later released her debut single Fools Games.
