It follows the €200 electricity credit that was paid to households earlier this year
Households are in line for three credit payments of €200 or more on their electricity bills between now and next spring, under proposals being considered by the government.
Environment Minister Eamon Ryan confirmed earlier this month that households would receive another electricity credit payment before Christmas. Domestic electricity customers got a "one-off, exceptional payment" of €200 earlier this year to offset the increasing costs, which was paid to households around April.
It is expected that the Government will roll out further supports in the Budget 2023 as the cost of living increases due to global issues.
