Love Island is one of, if not the, most popular reality show around. But that doesn’t mean no one has their gripes with the hit series, as Irish fans in particular are irritated with a reoccurring trend the show continues every year – not expanding the public vote to Ireland.
Since 2022, the series has feature voting to select couples, pick new bombshells, and boot islanders from the villa, through the Love Island app. But this feature excludes Irish fans, with voting lines not be opening to the ROI. This has been an issue for a while, with 2022’s Dami Hope saying that he believed he and girlfriend Indiyah Polack could have placed higher than third, had Irish votes been accepted.
