The incident, which was captured on video, occurred during the boarding process. Moynihan pleaded guilty to entering an aircraft when drunk and failing to obey a pilot's commands.
Emmet Moynihan, a man from Ireland, was fined over €2500 after pleading guilty to two charges related to a drunken incident on a plane. The flight was scheduled to go from London to Las Vegas.
Moynihan got drunk before the flight, likely because he was part of a group going to a stag party. During the boarding process, he tried to use the toilet, even though the plane was delayed, and he was told to sit down. He then became abusive toward the staff and passengers around him. Passengers recorded videos of the altercation, which later went viral online.
A court in Uxbridge sentenced him to a fine and costs for entering the aircraft drunk and failing to follow the pilot's commands
