Irish man to serve as jury foreman at Donald Trump trial

He is one of seven jurors selected to serve on the panel of 12 and six alternates in the historic trial

An Irish man has been selected to serve as jury foreman for the criminal trial of former US President Donald Trump in New York .The New York Times.Several others had been excused yesterday after saying they could not be impartial or because they had other commitments.

Judge Juan Merchan warned the former US president about"intimidating" potential jurors in the case on Tuesday. Mr Trump denies falsifying business records to cover up a hush money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels.
