Ever since Ryan Tubridy was axed from RTE, speculation has been rife as to who will be his successor on the airwaves.
The Irish Mirror ran a poll with our readers, asking 'Who should replace Ryan Tubridy on his RTE Radio 1 show?'. It received over 3,000 responses and some interesting results. The Irish Mirror readers agreed, voting Oliver Callan, the impersonator behind the Callan’s Kicks sketch show, as the firm favourite to take over the role permanently with the highest number of votes .
