Irish-Bangladeshi model reveals online trolls called her a 'whore' because she is a single mum

An Irish-Bangladeshi beauty queen has told of her torment over the ‘hundreds’ of vile messages she receives.

The business graduate claimed last month she was seriously sexually assaulted and threatened with death while visiting her native country in 2015 and Interpol are investigating the incident. The Malahide resident, who has since regained her confidence, recently felt she had no choice but to stop modelling for months because of the trolling.

“[They say] she is living in a good way and that means living independently because I am showing my body and I’m earning money.“[In their minds] that’s a bad way, it’s like I’m sleeping around or something like that.
