Irish parents warned after five cases of measles confirmed in Co Dublin
Five cases of the disesae have been reported since the start of February, according to the Health Service Executive .Dr. Ruth McDermott, Public Health Specialist said: "Measles can be a serious illness and is highly infectious. The best protection is to be vaccinated with MMR vaccine”.
Symptoms include fever, red eyes, a cough or runny nose, and a rash which usually starts four days after the other symptoms have developed.
