Workers needed to have 30 qualifying years on their NI record to ensure that they got the full rate of their pension. It currently stands at £141.85 or €159 each week, but this will increase to £156.20 or €175 each week from mid-April. If your qualifying years in the UK land between before and after the April 2016 changes, you are entitled to a hybrid state pension between the older and newer models.
