This was followed by an update which confirmed that a "tragic incident" had taken place on the line and a warning for passengers to expect delays and changes to the schedule due to services being suspended.Services have resumed through Hazelhatch station, though some services will face delays and alterations as a result of the earlier stoppage.The 8am Galway-Heuston service will terminate in Kildare.
