The Managing Director of the Dublin-based estate agency of the same name has revealed what time of the year market trends are indicating will be the best for buyers and sellers in 2022. I think there are going to be a lot more transactions than last year, and I think more people are going to be on the move and that’s going to bring about loads of opportunities.”
As well as this Mr. Reilly confirmed that the banks have their exemptions available again, “where there is an exemption on the multiplier of what you can borrow and they all start again in January.” “We are also starting to see houses that require renovations more challenging to sell because it’s very difficult to get contractors, their availability is low, and we all know that renovation costs have shot up in the last 18 months and inflation is very high at the moment,” Reilly explained.
