To celebrate the 150th anniversary of Ireland's first international men's rugby match, the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) is giving away free replica kits to all babies born in Ireland on February 15th, 2025. Parents can claim the gift by submitting a copy of their baby's birth certificate.
All babies born in Ireland on February 15th this year are in line to collect a special gift from the Irish Rugby Football Union.
Parents of these newborns can claim the gift by submitting a copy of their baby’s birth certificate via email to [email protected]. Once received, the IRFU will send out the exclusive kit. "As families across Ireland celebrate the birth of their children on February 15th, we’re thrilled to be able to share this moment with them by welcoming the next generation of rugby fans with open arms—and with their very first kit.”
Ireland's interim head coach Simon Easterby has announced his team for Sunday’s Six Nations clash against Scotland. Hugo Keenan, Mack Hansen and James Lowe start in an unchanged Ireland back three, with Bundee Aki and Robbie Henshaw forming the midfield partnership, while Jamison Gibson-Park and Sam Prendergast continue in the half-backs.
