Cillian Murphy, Pierce Brosnan and the story of Guinness are set to headline new Netflix series this year. Murphy stars in the psychological drama 'Steve,' while Brosnan joins a star-studded cast in 'The Thursday Murder Club.' The documentary series 'House of Guinness' explores the legacy of the famous brewing dynasty.

Irish talent is set to take over Netflix this year as the streaming giant has annouced a slate of new shows .

Speaking about the show 'Steve' storyteller Max Porter, said: "They all have run into trouble with the law. They all have different experiences and are all struggling in different ways." When an unexplained death occurs on their own doorstep, their casual sleuthing takes a thrilling turn as they find themselves with a real whodunnit on their hands.

BAFTA-nominated actor Daryl McCormack, meanwhile, will also star alongside 007 legend Daniel Craig as he has landed a role in Netflix’s Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery. For the first time ever, viewers will get an unprecedented look into the US Air Force’s legendary flight squadron: the Thunderbirds.

In this intimate portrait, the Oscar-nominated actor opens up his home and dives deep into his eclectic, nearly 50-year career. In his own words, he talks about entertaining three generations of fans with a filmography that spans comedy, action, drama, animation, musicals and family fare.
