In his regular column for the Daily Record, Stephen Flynn says Westminster lacks the will to help ordinary Scots with the cost-of-living crisis.
Nope, you weren’t dreaming. A small independent nation just put a huge wad of cash into each and every household’s pocket. What does it look like? Well, it’s no' bad.
It’s almost embarrassing compared to Scotland’s wealth fund. Actually, hud on. Ours isn’t worth a single penny. In that case. 100 billion euros doesn’t sound too bad at all does it. And here’s the thing, whilst those two small independent nations are thriving, we aren’t. And the UK parties don’t have a plan to fix it.
I’ll repeat it here, again, as its important. Energy Bill relief. Mortgage Relief. Food price caps. He didn’t even lift his quill to respond. Surely the people of Scotland deserve better than that? Scottish politics It’s about having that power over energy transferred from London, to Edinburgh. It’s about having the power over migration transferred from London, to Edinburgh.
That’s them running scared of devolution and that’s them running scared of Scotland. And the reason they are fairt is because they too look across the Irish Sea and see Ireland thriving. Hamas are terrorists and they chose to rain terror on innocent Israelis. The images that have been seen across social media and in our newspapers are beyond description and must be condemned. No ifs, no buts. What will define us all now, is how we respond to their horror.
