'I had to teach myself that being on a diet shouldn't be restrictive...'
Therese O'Callaghan had struggled with her weight throughout her childhood, but struggled to find the motivation for weight loss.
"I had been yo-yo dieting and doing weight loss programmes since I was about 15 or 16 and I would lose a little bit but I would always gain it back and more. It was very up and down. "It was a fresh start with new people," she said. "I was like, let me see what happens if I start sticking to something. That's what gave me the kick."
"I had to teach myself that being on a diet shouldn't be restrictive and it should be something you can maintain as a lifestyle. I realised I can incorporate all of the foods I loved into my diet and still lose weight. You can eat what you want, just in a more controlled way."
